At the beach

It had been almost two years since we had a vacation, and it was fun.

We went to California, first to Disneyland then spent the rest of the time in San Diego.

The last vacation, in Brazil, Sam loved the ocean. This time he wasn't so thrilled with the water. This is as far as Papa (my dad) could get him in the water.

Anthony liked the ocean better this time.

It takes a lot of concentration to stay away from the waves.

According to Anthony these are "gobbles" they help him see in the water while he is swimming. Too bad he wouldn't go far enough in!

Plus they're a little small for him.

Sam is so good at sleeping anywhere when he is tired, even on vacation!
