The second day of lessons did not begin well at all. They start at 9 am, we are not morning people! Both boys were crying and just refused to get in the water. Renato even showed up and helped. Anthony finally got in, but Sam REFUSED. Finally I gave Sam to one of the teachers and hid. He cried for about 5 minutes then started to calm down.

Once Anthony was in the water he did great. He did more kicking back and forth, played ring around the rosies, put his mouth in the water all by himself, began adding arm movements, and reached for toys on the stairs.

I never thought in a million years this kid would put his face in the water on his own free will...it working!

Once Sam calmed down the teacher got him to blow bubbles in the water! And he even started throwing toys and giggling a little bit.
Yay for progress!
Lesson started out bad, ended great!
