Anthony was a little timid for this lesson. Yesterday he was much braver. Yesterday he began going all the way under the water. Today he was a little more cautious about it, but he still did it.
He also practiced his kick board, and blowing bubbles to go under water.
Yesterday after class we stayed by the pool and watched the older kids swim. My boys were fascinated that those kids could swim under water. So I told Anthony if he practiced real hard then he could learn to swim under the water! Today he kicked with his face in the water!
Sam has cried everyday so far. Today he didn't!!!!
He walked all the way in determined to get in the water. He had me take his shirt off and he kicked his shoes off. Then he grabbed the teacher's hand and walked her to the pool!
Our class had to be rescheduled so there was a little girl there this time. Sam thought that was the best ever. He is a show off and a flirt after all. He was very kind to the little girl and shared his rings and would give her hugs! The best part was he did everything the teacher asked so he could be better than the little girl. He began "floating" today.
I'm sure loving these swimming lessons.
