5 Years Old

Anthony is now the big 5 years old. He couldn't be happier! On his birthday he got to go to work with Daddy, and pick out toys on Ebay! (One of their favorite past times) Then we headed off for Jungle Jims. My mom wanted to take him there with some of his cousins. It was nice, because that place is rather calm on a Thursday night. Then off to NYPD pizza for a quick dinner. During dinner my Grandma Ev called to wish Anthony happy birthday. I cried because when she called my phone said, "Grandpa Harris calling" and had his picture on it. Just made me miss him quite a bit. But Ev was so sweet and we love her! Grandpa Luciano called from Brazil, aunt Kal called with her lovely singing, and so many messages from family and friends. He had a great day.

Lets get ready to party! It actually took a few days to get ready. I attempted to be crafty and make cookies and cupcakes and decorations all for Mario! So it took quite a while. This is his cake, thanks to Brittany!

However when it came time for the singing and blowing out the candles, he was pretty shy. I understand, I hate when a whole bunch of people sing happy birthday to me. So mom and dad made a wish for him, (mine was that time would slow down so my little man can stay little!)

A few of the people who came for the shindig. It was a lot of fun, though sometimes I wish we had normal birthday parties with just a few kids that go home after two hours. But fun was had by all!

Luckily most of the snow melted so we could have this in our backyard. I wanted to keep it back there forever so I could sleep in it!

This party was huge, but I hope it made up for him not having a 4th birthday party. He got spoiled, and he loved it.
