6 months old (three weeks late!)

1/2 a year old! My how the time flies. Sammy now weighs 17 pounds 15 ounces offically a chunk. His doctor's appointment went well and barely cried through the shots. The doctor said his head has grown considerable, but nothing new my kids have big heads! Sam is now a master at rolling over. Because of this has now fallen off the bed twice. He is eating vegatable baby food and is great at holding his bottle. He isn't a big fan of mashed potatoes, but loves watermelon (but he can't have that), and his favorite thing to eat is his hands. Those teeth just won't break through. He is starting to sit up a bit on his own and loves it.

His smile will fill a room. When I pick him up after work I say his name and he'll look at me and give me that huge smile. He loves his mommy to hold him, but he loves to play with daddy. Singing and talking entertain him. As I drive down the road you can usually hear Sam telling stories to the world. His new thing is sticking his tongue out and touching the tip to his top lip. Its quite cute. He loves his jumper and watching the fish tank. Bath time is actually enjoyable for him, he loves to splash water everywhere.
