7 months old

7 months of fun! Our little chub is so much fun. He is now quite the sitting up pro. Rolling all over the floor, and talking talking talking. Yesterday I was out doing yardwork, and when Renato came into the frontroom to check on the boys Sam was sitting on the airconditioner vent just chillin!

Sam loves his veggies. I haven't tried fruit yet, but he loves eating his baby food. Everything still goes in his mouth, those dang teeth just won't cut through. It seems they've almost been through since he was three months old!

Sam loves his brother. They play a lot more together. Now that Sam is all over the place Anthony gets a little possesive of his stuff. Sam can't touch his blanket or be near it, he can't have Anthony's toys, and can't "hit" Anthony. But Anthony is sweet to him, he will give him toys that are Sam's, and help him with his bottle. The best is when the two of them laugh together.

Sam has been in a high chair twice at restaurants. The second wasn't as successful. It will be nice when he is better at those chairs and we won't have to hold him while we eat. For the fourth of July my dad put a little pool in his backyard. Sam was watching the other kids play in it and was bouncing like crazy. So I put him in, and he was in heaven. This boy loves the water. He was splashing like crazy, and even when his cousin dumped water on him, he didn't mind.

Still not sleeping through the night. He just gets up long enough for a few swigs off a bottle, then right back to sleep. It isn't so bad, but its annoying couple of times a night. He has though come into how he likes to sleep. Arms up on his face, usually pulling the blanket over his face too. Legs spread, and when in the bassinette one up on the side. Head of course turned to the left, and snores. I get to listen to three people snore every night, and if the dog is in the mood four!

Sam has quite a personality. Last night Renato wrapped a sheet under his arms and behind his back. Renato could lift him up and swing him around. Sam loved it. It was so funny, kind of like his own carnival ride. He is getting to where he can "rough" play with daddy and brother, and laugh with us all. He loves to laugh at the dog, and little einsteins! Mostly just laugh at everything.
