She has this parrot that is really old. Margarida's sister Fernanda received this bird when she was 17. It was funny because it would laugh with us and talk. I'm shocked at how old that bird is.

There it is, 4 generations. Of course my kids wouldn't cooperate! More importantly they got to meet their great-grandma and she them.

This is Fernanda, she was so nice to us, and owner of the bird.

We got to meet some uncles and cousins. This is Renato's cousin. Isaac was a little overly happy.

Great Grandma Luiza had this cool cow hanging in her front room, it would fly around and entertained Anthony.
This is Fernanda's favorite picture. Sam was being affectionate. First sign of how much this kid changed in Brazil. He came alive!

The first time my kids saw the ocean, and they both got in just not at the same time. Anthony was so happy!!
And the first time I tried crab. It wasn't too bad. They had tables and chairs set up on the beach with a restaurant. We had crab, fish balls (breaded fish in a ball), guarana, and fries. We ate quite a lot. As we were leaving the beach I asked Renato what we were going to do now. He said, "We're going to dinner." Seriously all we had done that day was eat and eat some more.

It just so happened that the day we arrived was Davi's birthday. He turned 6 years old. Luciana being so sweet had his birthday party a day late so we could sleep. He had a dinosaur theme and it was so fun.

Anthony was missing most of the time playing with everything! Sam was looking at something and was very excited about it!

Davi's big day, Happy Birthday buddy!

While all the kids were playing a little boy went up to Roberto and said "I think that little boy speaks English" (referring to Anthony) Roberto replied well yes he goes to a special school that teaches him English, its a really good school. While telling this story to the group Davi ruined the joke and said, "He is from the United States!" It was quite funny.
