Science Lab

My mom teaches 7th grade life science. Twice a week I take the boys to her school just before the bell rings. One time her students were doing a lab with pipets, test tubes, and colored water. I don't know what the point of the lab was, but Anthony came home that night teaching me how to pipet water from a test tube.
I kind of thought he was crazy until I saw the tubes and pipets in the diaper bag. There was Anthony's test tube with "A for Anthony" on it. My mom gave us a bunch of food coloring and the home color lab began! Anthony was teaching Sam the colors he could make by mixing them.
Like yellow and blue turns green! If you keep adding all the colors they will turn black!
So many times I have transferred things by pipet in my chemistry labs, I never thought my kids would have so much fun doing what I hated! All while learning their colors (well they know those quite well, learning color mixtures)
