Anthony has had this blanket since before he was born. It has been his favorite blanket for his whole life pretty much. There are tassels along the sides and only one of them is completely blue. This blue tassel has been his favorite part of his favorite blanket for almost as long has its been his favorite blanket! Tonight Anthony and Sam decided it would be fun to play tug-o-war with said favorite blanket. Of course Anthony held on to said favorite blue tassel, and tragedy struck. The blue tassel broke off. He comes running to me with said tassel with this face. It broke my heart as well as his. He told me, "My blanket is broken, and it was my only one." It took me a few minutes to convince him that it is possible to reattach the missing tassel. I told him to go get his shoes on so we could go to the store to get the things to fix the blanket. He responded, "No, I need cereal first!"
