Happy Belated Birthday

How pathetic is it that its is April and I've just downloaded the pictures from Oliver's birthday in October?!!!

 I guess as quickly as the first birthday sneeks up on you, the next 6 months goes even faster!

 I was so excited for Oli to smash into his cute cake. Thats my favorite part of their first birthday.

 Too bad Oli didn't feel the same way I did! I think I might try again for his 2nd birthday!

He did have a great birthday, and we love him so very much. Now that he is almost 18 months old he has grown up so quickly. He can climb on to our counters, get into the bathtub by himself, turn on the water and fill the tub by himself, gets into everything and LOVES to brush his teeth. I have to hide his toothbrush and toothpaste or we're just brushing his teeth all day long. He is starting to say more words like mom, poo poo, juice, and up. Or some variation of those words. He understands just about everything we say to him, and his teacher says that the words should be coming along any day now. I got permission to go to another ENT doctor so hopefully they can just open up his ear and we won't have to worry about his speach. He is such a wild and crazy kid, we stay on our toes constantly with him around. I think what my mom said puts it very nicely..."Hes a monkey on speed!"
